1.) My nephew, Luke, was born last November. It is hard for me to believe that he is already 3 months old. It makes me a little sad that I have to watch him grow up from afar. Isn't he just the cutest?
Luke says: How dare you not mention me until now. |
2.) It is a FACT that he was the cutest thing born last year, even though he had some stiff competition:

3.) My new cube mate keeps telling me that I sigh too loudly. Maybe that is because I constantly have to listen to her financial phone calls; or maybe it is because I have to listen to a certain WDM call everyone on the planet his "buddy" and his "pal." Or maybe it is just because I'm so busy I forget to breathe.
4.) We were talking about maniac drivers today at lunch. For the life of me, couldn't come up with a specific example. Then on my drive home, I had not ONE but TWO maniacs pull out right in front of me then come to a complete stop.
5.) My annual "financial thing" is over and done with for another year. This is the representation of what the Goog thinks I do when I talk about 10-Ks...he thinks I just go around taking random pictures of K's for 2 solid months.
6.) I drove home from work before the sun set 4 days last week. That hasn't happened since early January. It. Felt. AWESOME.
7.) I have become slightly obsessed with documenting my every day life....more on that later.
8.) To reward myself for 2 months of hard work, I bought some new, exciting scrapbooking tools, like this Crop-a-dile , a Tiny Attacher, and a Rub-On Roller Stylus.
9.) Willie has gotten into the unfortunate habit of meowing bloody cat murder every morning around 4:30 A.M.
10.) My 15 coworkers and I will be taking a 47-seat charter bus to Knoxville on Thursday. We'll be spending approximately 8 hours round-trip on the bus and approximately 5 hours actually in Knoxville. Probably not the best use of time or resources, but it gets us out of the office for a day!
1 and 2. Luke is the cutest person born last year!
ReplyDelete3. At least you didn' call her your cell mate :-)
4. I can't wait to hear about those crazies!!
5. I see what you do to 2 months...it is taking pics of K's.
8. Thanks for the links!! I can now get my Rub-on Roller.
9. I'll tell you what a co-worker will tell you, "he is just getting you ready for when you have kids." Which I know if years from now :)
10. Yea!! I can't wait for a day off work riding in a bus with my coworkers...nothing better in my life.
YAY! For blogs! From sisters!
ReplyDeleteLuke says, it's a good thing you're nice since you forgot about me! ;) It's sad you have to watch him grow up from afar, HOWEVER, you've missed allll the fussiness that's accompanied his 3 months on this earth ;)
I love all those K's! that's what I think you do too!
Luke is very cute. Sometimes I find myself accidentally sighing loudly at work.
ReplyDeleteGlad your crazy time at work is over, or slowed down at least! If I had to work those kinds of hours, I'd be sighing loudly too! I always wonder if my podmates get tired of hearing me mutter to myself about "stoopid residents". ;)
ReplyDeleteAnd Luke is just the cutest!!!! He outshines the competition by a mile!
Crazy drivers are, well, crazy! I should blog about the time last month I double-middle-fingered a driver (he was waaayyyy in the wrong and I was ticked!).
Willie should meet Espresso. I swear I'm going to take away every single toy of theirs at night. Doesn't matter what time I go to bed, just as I've fallen asleep, I get the "come play with me-I've got this toy mouse in my mouth-come play with me-I want to play" meow. Usually results in said mouse being confiscated and said cat being thrown under the bed covers. Oy. gotta love them though, right?! :)
